Four-piece Gold Coast band Max Judo, have perfected the art of blending traditional didgeridoo and contemporary rock, to produce one of the freshest sounds to come out of Australia in the last decade. The earthy sounds that the “didge” produces, find their way through your skin, and settle on your inner self, mesmerizing, and engaging, like no other instrument/song/sound can.
Combining dance, roots, rock, and didgeridoo, Max Judo have traveled extensively, and played alongside some of the biggest acts, both in Australia, and globally. Fellow musicians such as Xavier Rudd, Marcia Hines and Mental as Anything have all shared the same stage, at major events like The Big Day Out, The Woodford Folk Festival, The Dreaming Festival, and The Billabong Pro, Japan. Having rocked the crowds in Spain, Costa Rica, France, Brasil, and Japan, the lads have just completed their most successful tour to date, at the 2007 US Open of Surfing, California.
