Biography

Chinua Hawk Biography:
Singer, Songwriter, Entrepreneur, just some of the words that can be used to describe Chinua Hawk. Born and raised in New Jersey, Chinua considers himself a "citizen of the world." "My music is for everyone. I listen to everything, all kinds of music, so it comes through in my writing." states Chinua.

Along with his extensive touring record, Chinua also boasts CD sales not only in the US, but also in France, England, Japan, Switzerland, and Canada. Not bad for an unsigned act.

Chinua counts himself very fortunate in his career to have performed with, Celine Dion in front of a crowd of 30,000 people at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He has also written songs with Wyclef Jean, and worked in the studio with producer/rapper Kanye West on rapper Talib Kweli's song "Just To Get By" just to name a few of his accomplishments.

Chinua Hawk has won the 2003 Heineken Music initiative/ ASCAP Foundation R&B songwriters Grant, along with his songwriting partner Kwame Viapree for their song "I Remember You". Chinua's other accomplishments include winning the Disc Makers Independent Music World Series 2004 beating out over 1,000 bands with just a guitar player to accompany him. He was also named the APCA Multi-Cultural Artist of the year 2004 and again in 2005. Millions heard Chinua's song "Can't Move On" when it aired on the CBS drama "Joan of Arcadia."

Chris Cauley Biography:
Chris is a 22 year old singer/songwriter out of GA. His passion and soul and easy charm is so captivating that in his first year on the college circuit, he was the #1 music act of all 3 showcases he was selected for and was voted APCA Coffeehouse Artist of the Year. He began writing songs at the age of 16 and formed an acoustic trio by the name of Broken Poets. The high school trio awed audiences throughout the state of GA bringing their tight harmonies and their smooth instrumentation to the stage. After the three went their separate ways, Chris continued to pursue a career in music. Since going solo Chris has opened for many world touring acts including Will Hoge, Edwin McCain, Kevin Kinney of Drivin' and Cryin', Matt Nathanson, and Motor City Josh and The Big 3.
